On the other hand, it’s also sad how we Filos like to latch on to the tiniest Filipino connection when it comes to famous people. Like how Bruno Mars or Nichole Scherzinger are half or quarter or one-sixteenth Filipino. I’m of the opinion that it sometimes reeks of some sort of desperation, like we have to prove to whoever that Filipinos are cool. (i.e. If you’re really cool you don’t have to prove it to anyone else)
Okay, I’m guilty of doing it, too (Yeah, APL de Ap is Filipino!). But I blame years of conditioning in that type of environment. =p Oh and one more thing…
GO CHARICE! xD

Most parents DO test their children’s girlfriends and boyfriends, but I think the most you have to do is to offer to help with dinner, the dishes or folding the laundry when you’re watching TV. Do they really secretly think you’ll volunteer to clean the toilet? ;)
Show adds that his mom’s M.O is to purposely let the dog out to do his business, and then she waits to see if the girl would volunteer to help the dog clean up. Hmm…I love animals, most especially dogs, but I don’t think cleaning up their poop is a testament to my love for them.
Finally…a girlfriend DID pass that test one time, but she cheated and they broke up. Which just goes to show that you won’t know if your partner will cheat by how well they clean up after your dog. ;)
