I would be too if I hosted PopAsia.

WIN tickets to Show Luo's SYDNEY concert!!!

Head to SBS PopAsia’s Facebook page and post “SBS PopAsia”…the more friends post, the more chances you have to go (‘cause they’ll take you with them, or you’ll take them). ^_~ Good Luck!

Another response video to “UCLA girl rants about Asians”… a more creative one. So funny…

Here’s the real “epiphany” (buzz word) out of all this: Kids, BE CAREFUL with YouTube! Alexandra Wallace is not likely to ever live this down…

Response to “UCLA Girl ranting about Asians”… Yes, it’s interesting that it looks like the video’s dubbed in English

UCLA girl ranting about Asians. GASP. Oh no she did-unt! :o Poor misguided thing.

A new Filipino pop group named XLR8 with a track that many say sounds like Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry… Hmmmm… ;) *koff koff*

Filipino Power: Charice returns to Glee

Charice and Lea MicheleReally proud of Charice, she’s one of the (very) few U.S. celebrities who seem to be sincerely proud of their Filipino roots. A friend and I were discussing one time how some Filipino halfies like to downplay those roots, saying they’re “Hawaiian.” ;)

On the other hand, it’s also sad how we Filos like to latch on to the tiniest Filipino connection when it comes to famous people. Like how Bruno Mars or Nichole Scherzinger are half or quarter or one-sixteenth Filipino. I’m of the opinion that it sometimes reeks of some sort of desperation, like we have to prove to whoever that Filipinos are cool. (i.e. If you’re really cool you don’t have to prove it to anyone else)

Okay, I’m guilty of doing it, too (Yeah, APL de Ap is Filipino!). But I blame years of conditioning in that type of environment. =p Oh and one more thing…

GO CHARICE! xD
